https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/75

The world has come to a standstill due to the coronavirus. The number of confirmed cases and the number of deaths are increasing day by day. Now accurate and real-time predictions are very important. Currently, a lot of work is being done on the spread prediction of coronavirus. If we can predict the number of corona patients in a country in advance, then it will be benefcial for the government of that country to take action in advance. In this paper, we experiment with Bangladesh and India data using the deep learning method. We have used LSTM (LONG SHORT-TERM MEMORY) neural network which is a type of recurrent neural network. The LSTM method can work very well even with very little data. Since we do not currently have much data on covid19, LSTM neural networks may be a suitable model. We have got very good prediction results using this method even with very little data. The prediction of various parameters (number of confirmed cases per day, number of deaths per day, number of total confirmed cases, and number of total deaths). We also calculate MAPE, MAE, and RMSE values and compare them among different models. Our model outperforms others’ models. We think this research will be a beneficial tool for administrators and health officials.
Md. Moshiur RahmanSumaiya Kabir

By natural process, the world population will in-crease day by day. In rhythm, the tendency of the food will also be rising. So, it is a great challenge to supply food and increase its availability for the huge amount of people of the world, which helps to fulfill their fundamental civil rights. Nowadays, many agriculture dependent countries are fully dependent on the orthodox agriculture process. To develop such types of conditions, people should attract to modern cultivation practices. In the modern era, the Internet of things (IoT) is an optimal solution for preventing such types of challenges. IoT can connect with neoteric agriculture technology. By using this technique, farmers can directly connect themselves and control their felds and monitor their feld environmental conditions from anywhere around the world. By the use of unique forms of sensors, models, strategies, and technologies farmers can collect much real-time information and it helps a bearer to increase his productivity of farming. The goal of this paper is to reconsider some very recent works on smart and prompt agriculture processes. In this review paper, we have spoken about the techniques, and methodologies and summarized the state-of-the-art literature. We also made a comprehensive discussion and profound analysis of
those recent works. Finally, we have given some future suggestions about smart farming techniques based on our discussion and analysis.
Najmus Sakib SizanDiganta DeyMd. Solaiman Mia

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/77

In the era of the twenty-first century, automation is the biggest field of research. Although several works have been done successfully, there is still so much to do. Increasing trash could be the biggest threat to a better human life in the future. To automate the task, machines need to understand the type of trash to be recycled or separate similar trash for recycling. For this process, the perfect classification of trash plays a vital role in making a better life and a cleaner world. There are so many popular convolutional neural network (CNN) models for image classification. In this work, we examine and analyze the outcomes of several Residual Network (ResNet) and Visual Geometry Group (VGG) CNN models on a trash dataset. Our main investigation is the accuracy evaluation for different VGG and ResNet models where the training dataset, test dataset, number of epochs, and batch size are the same for all the models. Finally, we compare VGG and ResNet models with each other. We have got the peak accuracy for ResNet152 among all ResNet models and the peak accuracy on VGG16 among all VGG models. And we have got the maximum accuracy on ResNet152 among all the ResNet and VGG models which is about 94%.
Md. AtikuzzamanMd. Parvez HossainMd. Zahidul IslamSyed Ahsanul Kabir

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/78

Garments washing is the process of altering the aesthetic look, luxury, fashion, and comfortability of a garment after it has been manufactured. Most garments nowadays go through many washing processes before being sold in retail outlets. As denim is one of the most adaptable fabrics available today, the aesthetics may be reinvented in an infinite number of ways through garments washing techniques. Because of the rough and stiff nature of jute fiber, it is not currently used as a popular material for garments manufacturing. A sustainable option may be possible by using jute and cotton blended fabric in manufacturing. Moreover, enzyme is a naturally occurring product. Therefore, the product is environmentally friendly. In a washing bath, the enzyme functions as a catalyst to hydrolyze fiber, soften the fiber surface, and decrease pilling. The experiment was conducted on a 70 percent cotton, 30 percent jute blended fabric with a weave construction of 2/1 twill. The goal of this study is to observe how an industrial enzyme wash affects a jute cotton blended denim fabric. For this investigation, neutral enzyme was used. Finally, the raw and washed samples was compared in terms of physical parameters such as EPI, PPI, GSM, warp strength, and weft strength. This research may unlock a way for enzymatic treatment on jute cotton blended denim fabric.
Md. Mazharul HelalMd Mutasim UddinMd. Mahbubur RahmanMd. Shariful Alam

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/86

With rising fuel demands, the carbon which is avowed as inefficient energy sources is continually declining. This method is a promiscuous way not of lowering CO2 emissions but of producing economic benefits. The physiochemical conversion of carbon dioxide into chemical (energy) goods without contamination. The production of microalgae will thus help to repair CO2 and biofuels sources. In this present work, we have done a comprehensive reviewed in this paper that carbon dioxide capture mechanism, contribution of microalgae for biomass production. As a result of using microalgae (S. platensis, Salmeriensis, and Scenedesmus dimorphus are capture maximum CO2 respectively of 1.00 and 0.81gL−1 d −1, 1.0gL−1day−1-2.8gL−1day−1 and 0.8g CO2 L −1d
−1 with the production of microalgae biomass (<0.4g L-1day-1, 129.24 mg−1d−1, and 0.44gcel L−1d−1)in wastewater. The overall cost of the process is considerably reduced when these light conversion and chemical processes are combined, making carbon dioxide collection even more economically viable. Microalgae was used on extensively for biodiesel production and carbon dioxide reduction, and the processes were significantly enhanced with the use of microalgae. To conclude microalgae holds a strong promise in the 21st-century biofuel industry and environmentally friendly by capturing CO2
Md. Shamim HasanMd. Mahmud

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/80

Bangladesh's clothing industry is the backbone of the country's economy. One of the most crucial first phases in the apparel industry is to create and develop garment patterns based on the anticipated apparel's specifications, and then to plan the marker and cut the fabric according to the pattern pieces. These can be done manually or with the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software (CAM). The garment business has been transformed by computer-aided design (CAD) and computeraided manufacturing (CAM). Because fabric costs account for a large portion of the cost of garment manufacture, it is critical to properly utilize the fabric and reduce the percentage of fabric waste (percent). Additionally, minimizing production time will reduce lead time even more. Although CAD/CAM is expensive, it has a number of economic and technological advantages over other methods.
Avijeet Datta wMd Mutasim UddiinMd. Mahbubur RahmanMd. Mazharul Helal

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/81

CZTS solar cells are promising among the third-generation solar cell. Because of its earth
abundant materials and less toxicity CZTS solar cell can perform a sustainable role as an absorber layer. The optimization of a buffer layer is still a challenge and efficiency are still low than other thin film solar cells. In this study, WS2 buffer layer have been used to simulate the PV cell structure in SCAPS-1D simulation software. No research has been found where CZTS and WS2 is used together. We have achieved a maximum efficiency of η = 18.90 % at 300 K working temperature and other factors i.e., Voc, Jsc and FF are also promising. The highest certified efficiency of CZTS solar cell is nearly 12%. The simulation profile can be a guideline for fabricating the improved PV cell.
A. A. Md. Monzur-Ul-AkhirMd Touhidul Imam

https://journal.green.edu.bd/index.php/gubjse/article/view/82

Differential geometry is an important aspect of current physics and the study of any planar surface. Quantum mechanics and modern science are developing with the help of differential Geometry in daily life. In this paper, we discuss two mathematical formulas named Haversine formula for spherical earth and Lambert’s formula for oblate spherical earth. These formulas are used to determine the shortest distance between two points on Earth, as well as the sine formula for determining the direction of various locations towards the North Pole. Some examples of different locations are illustrated in this literature which gives a better overview.
Md. Humayun Kabir Umme RumanSharmin AlamShamima IslamJakia SultanaMd. Monirul Islam
